Description:

This role has two main functions; the first is the day to day running of our 10,000 sq foot warehouse facility overseeing all equipment movements in and out as well as supervising warehouse staff to ensure maximum efficiency of the warehouse. In addition to this you will also be responsible for dealing with all dry hire enquiries from initial contact to equipment leaving the premises. Eventually as the rental business increases we anticipate this role will be split into two individual ones.

Key responsibilities:
• Management of warehouse operations including supervision of warehouse staff.
• Processing hire enquiries and producing quotations from these enquiries.
• Operation of rental management software to ensure efficient operation of the business.
• Efficient management of equipment sub-hires.
• Monitoring of all stock movements and dealing with lost equipment or damaged.
• Dry hire invoicing.
• Transport and crew management for dry hire deliveries & collections
• Face to face contact with dry hire customers.
• Customer follow up calls to ensure quality targets are being met.
• Development and management of over the counter sales.
• Maintaining excellent customer relations and creation of new business.
• Liaison with Workshop Supervisor to ensure that inventory use is maximised
• Any other reasonable duties as directed by your manager.

Skills and Qualifications required

• Experience of a busy hire/production environment with critical deadlines
• Experience of managing a team of people
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent inter-personal skills
• Self motivated
• Computer literate including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Prior experience of Hiretrack Eclipse rental management software an advantage though not essential
