ETC is seeking a Systems Estimator/Project Manager for our London office location with project management experience and knowledge of entertainment lighting systems, excellent communication and customer service skills.

Representative Responsibilities:
• Generates pricing and Bills of Materials per customer requests according to deadlines
• Configures lighting systems based on customer provided information
• Calculates pricing based on interpretation of drawings and equipment lists
• Prepares quotation documents
• Provides sales support
• Answers questions of regional managers
• Explains sales policies to systems customer
• Determines when to articulate concerns about given jobs
• Answers new customer inquiries
• Answers internal factory inquiries
• Answers calls from Tech services about pricing on customer replacement parts
• Answer questions from Manufacturing regarding project
• Implements the design of systems projects based on purchase order and quotation documents
• Reviews quotations, sales order and purchase orders and addresses any discrepancies in a timely fashion
• Addresses requests for information from dealers, consultants, engineers, electricians, representatives and end users in a timely and professional manner
• Confirms system requirements
• Ensures submittal drawings are consistent and accurate
• Submits submittal drawings to customers by or on due date. Submits shop drawings to Systems Engineering for review
• Manages systems project’s progress to ensure the scheduled ship date is met
• Provides accurate project status to customers as soon as changes occur
• Releases project to manufacturing through US Systems Group
• Updates project schedules to ensure they are accurate and current
• Works with Manufacturing and Logistics to meet promised ship dates and specifications
• Communicates project’s schedule and ensures it is agreed-upon by external personnel (rep/dealer/consultant/customer/contractor)
• Ensures product shipped meets customer’s expectations
• Reviews shipping paperwork for accuracy
• Supports system installation
• Ensures all equipment is on site and missing equipment is expedited if necessary
• Provides support to on-site technicians
• Complete additional tasks as assigned

Skills and Qualifications required

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years comparable business experience in increasingly responsible positions in the related discipline
• 4-6 years of job related experience
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks without general supervision
• Quotations/Inside sales or Project Management Experience for a theatrical dealer, electrical distributor, manufacturer’s representative firm or lighting manufacturer preferred
• System Layout Experience for lighting related design firm preferred
• Autocad/Solidworks/DIALux experience preferred
• SAP experience preferred
• Working knowledge of theatrical/architectural lighting/rigging systems
• Able to work quickly and accurately
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent MS Office skills

Professional Level Position:
• As a professional level Systems Estimator/Project Manager, this position has previous Systems Estimating and/or Project Management experience
• This position assumes greater independence in assignments as well as decision making
• At this level, the employee, having developed expertise in the line of work, is responsible for planning and carrying out the assignment, resolving most of the conflicts that arise, coordinating the work with others as necessary, determining the approach to be taken. The methodology to be used work is reviewed only from an overall standpoint in terms of feasibility, compatibility with other work, or effectiveness in meeting requirements or expected results

• Understands and applies accepted professional services principles and practices
