Description:

The ideal candidate will need to generate new business across all sectors of the event industry, focusing on existing as well as new clients. They will be able to travel to clients and promote the Company’s equipment and services as required. Key responsibilities are:

- To develop and grow the hire desk and projects sales operation within the existing market sectors.
- Developing the sales operation, with the consultation and involvement of the management and sales teams, to look at new areas of business
- Preparation of tender and quotation documents (in association with the projects / hire desk teams) and other associated items for customers and to attend briefing / presentation meetings for those items
- To be fully conversant with the latest presentation technologies and current thinking in delivering creative cutting edge client focused solutions
- To work alongside the group Marketing Team, creating bespoke marketing solutions and sales tools to promote the company.

Skills and Qualifications required

The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record in sales/ business development, with outstanding communication and organisational skills. Experience in the events industry is absolutely essential, and you will need to have knowledge of AV solutions. You will be commercially aware, prepared to and comfortable with the selling aspect of the role, have outstanding client management skills, and ideally be able to bring new business to the company.
