Description:

The main responsibilities in this role include planning, supervision and preparation of equipment for hire. You will be responsible for:

· Supervision and assistance with equipment returns.
· Stock control and tracking of assets, using the new asset management.
· Supervision and briefing of other warehouse staff.
· Ensuring that all equipment is prepared in good time and to the required standard, ensuring that all equipment undergoes PAT and any pre-use inspections or safety tests.
· Ensure that all operational procedures are complied with and actively assisting with improvements to systems and procedures.
· Supervising and assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles.
· Ensure that the hire equipment is maintained to the required standards.
· Carrying out periodic maintenance checks on company vehicles and machinery.
· Maintaining good customer relations and creating new business opportunities.
· Performing an onsite technical or maintenance role when required.
· Occasional driving of company vehicles.
· Flexibility to cover relevant positions that may be required.

You will liaise with the Hire Manager on all matters including transport and logistics which will be booked by the Hire Manager.

Skills and Qualifications required

The ideal candidate for this role will be energetic and enthusiastic, with excellent knowledge of lighting, sound and rigging systems, solid logistical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both management and warehouse teams. Mechanical/practical knowledge, computer and basic electrical skills are essential.
