Description:
Our client needs a Hire Manager to operate their busy Hires Department. Your main responsibilities will include:
· Dealing with and processing all hire enquiries for the client's Rigging and Services divisions.
· Providing written quotations for the above.
· Scheduling movements of kit to accommodate both dry hires and installations
· Procuring sub-hires to cover any equipment short falls.
· Operating and maintaining the Client's inventory management programme.
· Operating and maintaining the Client's OSL index for management of L.O.L.E.R testing.
· Liasing with warehouse manager and operations team regarding the L.O.L.E.R testing schedule.
· Monitoring all stock movements and dealing with lost inventory.
· Dealing with day-to-day purchases.
· Booking transport and managing logistics.
You will also be responsible for low-level maintenance and backing up of the computer systems related to your department.
Skills and Qualifications required
Ideal candidates for this role will come with good experience in a similar role, or with little experience but a keen desire to learn as you develop. You should have technical knowledge of rigging systems and services, and be able to manage estimates to the highest level.
You will have excellent organisational, management and inter-personal skills, as well as solid computer skills including MS Access, Word, Excel and Outlook.
AutoCAD skills or similar are a distinct advantage.
